The 2025 Great Hardware Show Held Its Eighth Edition in Bogotá
Bogotá, September 2025. The Great Hardware Show powered by Eisenwarenmesse returned to Corferias from November 6 to 8 to continue connecting Colombia and Latin America with the world's leading hardware markets. In its eighth edition, the show brought together exhibitors from more than 10 countries and professional visitors from across the region, making it the ideal showcase for innovation, internationalization, and professionalization of a key sector for the economy.
Professionalization and Strengthening of the Hardware Sector
One of the central pillars of the Great Hardware Show powered by Eisenwarenmesse is its commitment to the professionalization of the sector, which in Colombia has more than 35,000 hardware stores and generates nearly 200,000 jobs, but faces the challenge of modernizing and adapting to new consumer and technological trends.
To meet this challenge, the fair presents a robust academic and experiential program, with spaces such as the Hardware Academy, the Hardware Lab, Exhibitor Night, and the Hardware Store, designed to update business owners, distributors, and professionals on trends in innovation, digitalization, sustainability, and management, while transforming the visit into a comprehensive platform for business, training, and networking. With this approach, the fair not only grows in numbers but also in the added value it brings to the entire industry.
A fair that energizes the economy and elevates the quality of business
In its 2024 edition, the Great Hardware Show closed with nearly 9,000 visitors, reaching business expectations of over 60 billion pesos. For 2025, the projections are even more ambitious: these figures are expected to be surpassed, and above all, the quality of the audience is enhanced with increasingly specialized visitors.
“At Corferias, we promote events that boost the country's economy and strengthen strategic sectors like the hardware industry. The Great Hardware Show is now a national benchmark because it allows business owners, distributors, and traditional hardware stores to access knowledge, innovation, and business opportunities that enhance their competitiveness,” stated Lilián Conde, project manager for the Great Hardware Show at Corferias.
Internationalization and Regional Growth
Thanks to the support of Koelnmesse as a strategic partner, the fair has expanded its reach into international markets, attracting exhibitors from more than 10 countries and professional visitors from Latin America and the Caribbean. This participation reinforces the vision of consolidating Bogotá as the most important business hub for the hardware industry in the region.
“For Koelnmesse, it has been very special to witness the evolution of El Gran Salón Ferretero (The Great Hardware Show). Its reception in the region and the interest it generates in international markets confirm that it is a platform with great potential. Beyond the numbers, what is important is that today it is a solid entry point for the world to look towards Latin America. That is our greatest motivation to continue working alongside Corferias and Concept2B,” stated Ana María Jiménez, Project & Sales Manager, Koelnmesse LAC.
In its eighth edition, the fair will mark a milestone by bringing together, for the first time, exhibitors from Germany, Italy, Spain, India, and Albania, which broadens the landscape of innovation and opens new opportunities for business exchange for professionals in the region. This international diversity not only strengthens the range of products and services offered but also positions the event as a strategic bridge between Latin America and the Caribbean and the world's most relevant markets.
“Since its inception, El Gran Salón Ferretero has experienced sustained growth thanks to the trust of exhibitors and visitors. Today, it is the leading trade fair in the sector in Latin America and a platform that demonstrates how innovation and collaborative work can transform an entire industry,” stated Darío Bastidas, Commercial Manager of Concept2B.
